How to Build a Customer Centric Mindset?

For teams that maybe have users that are a little bit harder to reach, how would you advise going around getting that customer centric minds that established? You know, the one thing i try to do, and this is going to show up different for various companies, r cause you might work in a highly regulated place where you don't have access to s or solt like thiis going to vary. I think if you frame it in the way that you're doing this research to improve the product and the experience, people are going to be very generous it their time in that way.
