The Parting of the Sea in Genesis 1 and Exodus 14

In both stories, waters are separated, pushed aside revealing what was there all the time. The waters were divided revealing the dry land beneath. As with the plagues, parting the sea is getting creation involved in saving God's people and destroying enemies of God's people.
