The Importance of Stillness in Court
I'm thinking this is objectively boring, but I am not bored. That's what I used to think in court when there were really long, boring passages of court behaviour which lawyers were just droning on. And even those, that's when I realised that this was work I was born to do. But it's also when I first started going to courts, I felt so good when I was there and I couldn't wait to get there every morning. Why does this make me feel so right? And I came up with an explanation. It's because my brain or my intellect and my emotions were both working full bore. They were working in concert with each other and not clashing
