You've worked in the area of a governmante of the kinds of technologies that are being applied in military contexts, as have i. We both know how challenging it is to form a kind of coherent ethical vision of the future of military technologies when you're dealing with people who have very different views of ethics and so forth. So we need to be able to recognize that an ethics that doesn't talk about collective decision making, or collectiveat or collective deliberation, is not going to serve us well. That's one we have to think about, what in ethics that works at that higher social level, and it allows a divergent minds and bodies to co operate and develop policies that help
