Is There a Bottleneck Point in the Game?

I think towards the beginning of stage three my progress pretty much ground to a halt but also because the game is kind of inconsistent in the feedback that it gives you it's hard to tell that you're not doing the right thing until you're already like pretty far down that pathway. I got stuck for a while without knowing that I was stuck and then the longer that you're in that stuck state like resources are still kind of draining from you so at that point you have so much it doesn't really matter that much. But theoretically I could see that getting to a point at which like you might end up in like a no recovery position but I'mYeah yeah survive has a survival of the two
