The Trial of a Jew
In acts, paul makes his defence before felix after the spokesman tertullus presents the case against him. Paul is walking in the footsteps of christ here. As we have seen, paul's trials and hearings can be mapped onto jesus trials and hearings in the book of luke. In chapter 23, claudius lycius, the tribune, sent paul to the governor felix in caesarea. He even tried to profane the temple, but we seized him. By examining him yourself, you will be able to find out from him about everything of which we accuse him.
