The SMP's Response to the Leadership Election

Police Scotland launched an investigation into potential criminality on SMP fundraising. The claim is that around £600,000 was raised post 2017 for a second independence referendum but that money was spent on other things. Peter Murrell the SMP chief executive husband and Nicholas Durgen has to make a loan to the party of £107,000 because the party had a cash flow problem.
