How to Become a Design Critic
I think all the ideas end up being folded into your work, even if you do them straightforwardly or not. One of my other ideas for a book that didn't even get to the proposal stage was to do a book on teenagers. But now I see that the mall book is totally a book about teenagers. It just doesn't, you know, say that on the cover. So I feel like I covered what I wanted to cover in my hypothetical teenager book in the mall book. And then I changed it. Like a year or so go to design critic because I really felt like again, I was doing lots of things that weren't necessarily about buildings.
