Bitcoin Privacy

The block chain is indeed revealing, and that is by design. If you own your bit coin in a public exchange, you have indelibly connected those bit coin with your personal information. Scrub them as much as you want, but the fact that you are interested in bit coin will never be erased. And if regulatory agencies see that the coins disappeared into a privacy wallet or somewhere else, you might get more attention than you would have otherwise.
