If you try and domote somebody like that, they never can be happy. But i've found in many cases, if you figure out what their true strengths are, you put them in a new, down scoped position where they're just focusing on their super power. That's kind of the unterpenning of everything difficult that you have to do personelwise. If people trust that you have their best interests in mind, which is a very difficult thing bild, then you can do many, many more things than than if you don't have that.
