The Importance of Showing Up as an Expert

The days of order taking is a writer are coming to an end. You can come in for a client who's got great content that's not being fully leveraged and show them how they could either, you know, leverage it better or create additional revenue streams from that. A lot of writers freak out when I say this because they say, well, but I'm just a writer. And my whole point is you're more than a writer, but you need to believe it. The number one thing we teach is you are not just that order taker, that writer who just shows up. We need to be the trusted advisor.
