It might be surprising if the hermeneutics of suspicion approach, the kind of reading of someone diagnostically is something that the philosopher themselves is perfectly well placed to do. So I think it's entirely appropriate that you should reflect on the question and refuse to speculate on the unconscious motives that might be driving your own philosophical work.
