The Importance of Data Collecting

Turtles were not following the North Atlantic Subtropical Chire as previously thought. Temperature recorded by tags was much higher than what we would expect based on satellite imagery data and oceanographic model data. The turtles are likely getting some sort of solar benefit from absorbing solar energy and staying in that warm surface layer, or potentially associating with warmer micro habitats of sarcasm.
