The town council was desperate to cut expenses, so they voted to shutter the library in two thousand 15. There were about 30 volunteers from illinokit working to keep the fire burning - sometimes literally. The friends of the library scraped together enough money through bakesa and auctions,. tax dollars and small grants, to hire a new library director. At the top of the list was a young man named mat delaney.
