The Negative Implications of the Built Environment
The built environment that you have today is destroying wealth, says Bitcoiner Kelly Drexler. "Strong towns" use data to determine whether or not a city can afford to maintain its infrastructure over the long-term. In older parts of town, such as areas built before World War II, it pays for itself in terms of property taxes and other costs. It's difficult to turn an existing subdivision into something else because there's already all sorts of infrastructure above ground," he adds.
