Is risk only worth it when it benefits ourselves? Or is there value in risking for the benefit of others as well? And does i't make you a bad person if you are only interested in taking a risk that large for your own personal good or gain? I don't know. But what i do know is that jumping out of an aeroplane, good one, without a parachute, is never a good idea. That's always worth contemplating.
