Pultrune basically means quitter. Andrew Jackson got called a Pultrune, challenged someone to a duel, killed them and then got elected president. He could have backed out, but he didn't want to be seen as a quitter either in the whole group spiral. The average age of a successful founder went on the day at the age when they found the company is actually in their 40s because these people have failed a lot.
