The Problem With Intelligent Alerts in Healthcare
There are now so many messages that doctors just, you know, shut down from all of them. Even though there is some warning, it's more like something that protects the provider but doesn't really help the doctor. It's called alert fatigue. And this is something that needs to be improved a lot. The airline industry has actually solved this problem where they make sure that only the important alerts get fired.
