How Does Killing an Elephant Protect Elephants?

In Namibia, the number of elephants is going up. In 1995 we had around 7,500 elephants; today there are 22,000. They've worked out how to stop poaching and human elephant conflict. And actually, they also allow one more thing - legal hunting. But it's very carefully controlled. Maxi says in her country, allowing people to hunt the elephants, actually protects them.
