In certain cases, like in collin's case, his ability to coordinate a single effort squat was not as important as his improvement in leg strength. The pi repetitions did two things. One thay, gave a bigger general base of training. That structure really solid d when he needed to hit big lifts,. ecause he had done really big lifts and training, but again, failed on the platform those big lifts in training. All that stuff that he was doing and training just never transferred.
