How to Interview for a Job at XYZ Group

Don't just ask them outright for a favor, but say something like, hi, Beth, my name's John and I've been thinking about applying to XYZ Group. Or talking to past employees is a great way to get some honest insight from somebody who isn't invested in the current state of the team. You may find that they love the job, but for one reason or another, they had to leave. Who knows? They might give you a glowing review of the company, even though they don't work there anymore.
