The Entity of Ethan Hunt
The idea that he's fighting AI or an algorithm, I think is very strong thematically for Tom Cruz. Ethan Hunt has to kill and destroy God because that's essentially what this is saying. The entities skills and abilities are in my opinion, very poorly defined. But again, the joy of that is the audience being behind the players.
