Dublin: A Place in Which There Is More Than Meets the Eye
Not everybody gets Dublin's say, the way you did when you first arrived there. I think that's one of the things that makes Dublin quite distinctive is that sense of proximity. The city center in particular is quite compact. Even as you move outwards from the city center, Dublin is almost like a series of connected villages. We use the city where you walk still, it's increasingly a cycling city. So there is that density that is kind of literary density in the city that you find in very few other places really.
