In Washington Kevin McCarthy is fighting to keep his job as fellow Republicans threaten to move him as speaker of the house. The threat comes after McCarthy worked with Doug Democrats to avoid a government shutdown. Matt Gaetz, a notorious fierce critic is attempting to oust the speaker, slamming him for working with Democrats. democratic leaders have not said if they join the effort to target McCarthy.
