I was still drinking a lot. That was definitely a coping mechanism. So beyond just socialised drinking, it was kind of something you were doing to cover over how you felt a little bit. I would go out with my friends with good bars and clubs and stuff like that when I was 18, 19. And I found them so intimidating that spend more time hiding away in the shadows in the toilets. The darkest of thoughts started to take over. There's a song John Denver Country Roads, Take Me Home to a place where I belong. I wanted to be taken away from this world. When I talk about death and ending my life, I always wanted to be involved in a car accident
