You can tell when a kid is ready to actually start training hard. When you're adding one pound a week, maybe two pounds a week and then out of nowhere, you're like, you know what, today we're going to put five pounds on the bar. They light up. And that's when they understand all that work,. All that psychological work you did when you were just putting a pound on every week. Now they're like, oh, I can do five pounds of work out now. That's a different game.
