LZ Granderson: We should have seen a lot more Republican success than we did. He says the American people saw that democracy was on the ballot and they came out and defended it. LZ: It's still terrible to live in a country where one party thinks making it harder for opponents to vote is good. "I think we are still in a very bad place, just not as bad as I feared it would be," he says.
