The Secret Life of a Desperate Girl

Maryland thought the hospital would like a celebrity rehab facility, like a spaw with doctors. She didn't think her therapist would send her to a place with literal scratch marks on the walls and people screaming to themselves up and down the hall. Maryland's not ready to give up. She throws the chair at the window over and over again with all her strength. Finally, a small shart of glass breaks off; she's got her razor. The doctors tackle marylyn and carry her, face down and sobbing, to the seventh floor.
