In your book, you say we need to change the stories that we're telling ourselves about our lives. We too often choose these stories of angst because they're "the default wine in my Sippy Cup thing," she says. When kids are young, parents should step back and let them make their own lunch or do dinner by themselves. It's going to make us happier; it's better for our kids.
