If you go online, you'll get a better deal from the newer banks that are competing to win your business. At the moment, on an easy access account, you can get up to 3%. Another popular option are what are known as regular savers offered by current accounts. But Sarah was saying this before, a lot of these accounts do tend to come with strings attached. So it's just a reminder to really look at that small print and understand what you're getting into before you bond.
