How to Generate So Many Good Ideas
I suppose what everybody wants to know from you is how it's possible to generate so many good ideas. So let me start by just saying, have you got an answer to that question? I was in Japan with a lot of experts on asymmetric synthesis and Kagan and Noriori and Eric Jacobson others at a meeting years ago. And since I had done a number of different things that were asymmetric and also had other types of reactivity, I'd found. It comes down to things like, if you can't plan ahead, you're in a different boat than the rest of the team.
