The Instinct to Do Your Own Research

Everyone on my street got ready up in arms that there might be a 5g um mast near us. I think realistically what happened is people didn't want the mast and therefore did a load of science-y stuff to be able to justify it. The instinct to do your own research is really really good one but that maybe we've not developed the skills for how to do it well.
