The Left Hemisphere Is Not Always Veridical
The two hemispheres produce two different pictures of reality we have to be able to judge between them. We do so by our attention, perception and judgments that we already form on perception because we never just perceive something but think it is a something. And then we bring to bear our emotional and social intelligence, cognitive intelligence and our creativity on understanding what is going on here. In every case looking at literature about individuals but also broad tests and studies in normal individuals as well as in those who have had brain damage the left hemisphere must be in service to the right.
