What's the Difference Between Predicted and Upside Potential?

The ratio of lifetime value to customer acquisition cost is, in my opinion, the most important two numbers in any business. And I think that the fundamentals are almost identical across business types. You can basically model what level you'll keep them and so forth. But when it gets to a more multi-variant kind of treatment, the problem becomes like a many buddy problem in physics, so it's all one way or another.
