Even a federalized system of abortion is deeply, deeply problematic. It also doesn't even take into account what states like texas could do to prevent women from leaving the state in order to do that. We get to this question of legitimacy, and we get this question olik, how people view the court. Basically, the supreme court is fundamentally a reactionary institution in american life. Has been through most of it. I don't know what the solution is. And liberals need to stop like, basically, thinking this thing is good and is like gone awry, and get real about what this thing is.
