Meditation Course - You Don't Chase the Good Feelings
In the meditation course we did not move. You have and you do not try to run away from the pain. In fact, you focus your mind on that pain and you feel it completely. And then what happens is you gain a kind of happiness pleasure that doesn't depend on pain or pleasure. There's a peace in your mind which we call bliss in English, bliss, BL, ISS. It's like a very, very high level of happiness because your mind is peaceful. This is the art of meditation and I would call it a first step... wow this is powerful"
