The Cultural Revolution: A Memoir

Cunha: I was translating two books more or less in parallel, ninth building, which is about the cultural revolution and cocoon,. which is about aftermath. In cocoon, that is a central part of L'Etiati's family dilemma; her father, who is from the city, married her mother, who's from the countryside. All of the significant events in the book really took place before either of the protagonists were born. There's still something mysterious about it, but it's not really a little leaf compared to the mountainous effect that this would have had on these main characters.
