We worry when we have coroporations or political systems that are extremely efficient. But when we look at i systems, or even just computers in general rate. They have this different characteristic from ordinary human activity in the past. The algrithm makes more money if it can better predict what people are going to click onas than it can feed them,. So the way to maximise click throug is actually to modify the people to make them more predictable. Whatever is the nearest extreme, or the nearest predictable point, that's where you're going to end up. And the machines will force you there. Now, a n i think there's a reasonable argument to say that
