God Eliminated All Our Enemies
Some suggest that the old testament is a poetic expression of god's power at a certain stage of israel's spiritual and moral development. Others say it shows how god crushes his enemies, not through violent warfare, but rather through the love that absorbs the evil of the world. Craig says he would adopt this sort of interpretive programme. He also takes two other approaches to reading the texts: one by augustine and another by thomas aquinas.
