Trade Desk: A Long-Term Leader in the Digital Advertising Trend

The trade desk came on our radar in May of 2018, it had a huge high-volume breakout and really high volume. We wanted to see some sideways consolidation instead of chasing the name while it was extended. So we tried to be patient while the name kind of traded sideways a little bit. It did move a little bit higher, but as it got closer to that 50-day average, we thought that was a lower risk entry point. And then the name just kept working its way higher.
