Will Computers of the Future Become Conscious?
In a recent poll, 50% of computer scientists said that computers will eventually become conscious. I was one of the people who was invited to take part in such a poll. One CS person told me he personally believes in the Buddhist framework to reality. And if there is shunya type, there's nothingness. Out of nothingness, minds have evolved and mathematics is only logic. So that computer script should evolve. These discussions have also taken place in India for a long time.
