Chemistry doesn't really feel like a system it feels like lots of little pieces a lot of the time but if there is an explanation in chemistry I find that it's too nomological. When you're learning about chemistry when someone's teaching chemistry they ask for example why why does this chemical form or why does this reaction happen and then the answer is because it's more stable. That's literally the extent of the entire explanation because it is more stable right firstly does not explain why it's morestable although with time people start to gather an intuition for why certain things are stable which things aren't. The word stable is very rarely actually defined if it's defined it's usually defined once fleet
