Bitcoin Transactions - Inscriptions and Ordinals

The ordinal protocol is a convention for numbering individual satoshis in the order in which they are mined and then tracking them across transactions. It's sort of a different way of viewing the data that's already on the chain. And so this gives individual sets an identity and lets somebody say like, oh, I hold this sat and send it to other people,. secure it with a private key, send it in a transaction. The set is transferable using the ordinal theory protocol, which is based on normal Bitcoin transactions.
