The Death Penalty and the Parkland Mass Murder
Mina Epstein: I don't think death penalty has any place in a civilized society. This is disturbing to me just because of the changes in what we're talking about. She says she understands that there are heinous individuals on our earth that have done atrocious things. But it's very dangerous as a society when we start applying the death penalty to cases that not only involve mental health individuals, but also that don't involve premeditated murder and defendants claiming they're innocent.
