"I have very mixed feelings about that because on the one hand, like this particular line that I played is a very risky one and people have prepared against me in the past," he says. In his practice sessions with players, Riddell would go into an empty room or hallway and do a meditation for 10 minutes. It had a much more positive impact than frantically trying to do some last minute cramming before each game.
