Are We Running Short of Time?
We're not that far away from a model where a machine is better able to evaluate all the various different options more efficiently than the person. Most machine learning AI systems are pretty opaque in how they make their decisions. It's often very unclear how they reach that prediction. These things often work best in tandem with a human rather than completely replacing. But until these issues of training bias and transparency are solved, I think it's still very, very important to put lots of guardrails around how much we rely on algorithms for our everyday lives.
