Is There an Echo Cardagram for Atrial Fibrillation?

All adult patients with atrial firulation should have an echo cardagram. A relatively limited laboratory investigation that includes thyroid testing, renal function, file, liver tesks and a blood count should be performed. There are patients that have what we used to call lon atril februlation, which is essentially atril ferelation in the absence of any cardio vascular or structural disease. But for the most part, atril febrelation should be thought of as a disease of structural cartio vascular abnormalities, an underlying disease.
