The Charlotte Mason Philosophy

I'm a member of a space book group called radical unschooling. I find some of the unschooling community genuinely repulsive. What i think un schoolers get particularly right is the idea that learning happens best when it happens out of the desire of the student and when it happens in a pleasure be manner. Charlotte mason was an english school teacher who lived during the nineteenth she became a school teacher,. She wound up having a very long career organizing schools in england, both traditional school class rooms as well as providing curriculum options for some home school environments.
