How Knowledge Is Actually Created
We are not deriving those facts from reality. We are conjecturing them from within and then testing them against that reality. And so therefore our theories will be incomplete because they cannot be perfect representations of reality. Reality contains no contradictions, but our knowledge of reality will absolutely contain contradictions. But you won't be able to account for any of this if you're an empiricist or a Bayesian. It won't make sense to you only under popular epistemology where we have a source of ignorance as well as the source of knowledge coming from within us.
