Captain garry sick was a naval intelligence officer who was king on the national n carters, national security council. He initially denied any kind of, he he basically, you know, poopooed any idea of some weird things going on with the october surprise for about eight years. But then after ran contra came out, and traced the iron contro weapons deals backwards in time, he became convinced that there had been something fishy going on. The washington press corps were too busy padding themselves on the back for watergate to think they'd solved ruption or something. And they were probably very wrong about that.
